Madrid, 4 de marzo de 2020.- Movistar Prosegur Alarmas (www.movistarproseguralarmas.es), la joint venture entre Prosegur y Telefónica, ha presentado hoy su primera oferta comercial para el mercado de alarmas en España. A diferencia de otros productos similares, los clientes no tendrán que pagar cuotas de alta ni de permanencia. El servicio tendrá un precio fijo de 45 euros al mes (IVA incluido) para clientes residenciales.
Enrique García López, consejero delegado de Movistar Prosegur Alarmas, explicó durante el lanzamiento que "no queremos tener clientes atrapados por la permanencia, sino clientes satisfechos que valoren y utilicen nuestro servicio. Por eso rompemos una de las reglas más establecidas en este mercado y apostamos por eliminar por primera vez la permanencia".
La compañía iniciará su actividad comercial tan pronto como mañana, 5 de marzo, con una oferta de seguridad avanzada tanto para hogares como para negocios que incluye alarma conectada a central receptora de alarmas, sistema de videovigilancia y conexión a la app móvil de Movistar Prosegur Alarmas. La aplicación, disponible para Android e iOS y elemento clave del servicio, permitirá a los usuarios gestionar de forma remota el sistema de seguridad.

Movistar Prosegur Alarms has added 133,000 new customers in 2021, to reach a total of 352,000, a base 40% larger than at the end of 2020, which has also brought with it a lower margin and price per customer.
Thus, profitability in absolute terms has been 66 million euros in 2021, 17.7% more, although the margin on gross operating profit (Ebitda) has been reduced from 53% to 51.2%, according to data provided by Prosegur and consulted by Europa Press.
In its presentation of financial results for 2021, Prosegur highlighted that the joint venture is managing to reach a market that traditionally the sector had not been able to reach.
The growth of Movistar Prosegur Alarms has attracted other operators to the sector, such as MásMóvil, which, in alliance with El Corte Inglés, launched its HomeGo alarm service through Yoigo. Orange, on the other hand, markets a home video surveillance service, while Vodafone does so together with Securitas Direct.
