An eSIM, or also called virtual SIM, is the evolution of the traditional SIM card. Its name comes from "embedded Sim" which means integrated Sim and, as its name suggests, it is integrated into the hardware of a cell phone, tablet or smart watch. This eliminates the need to physically insert a SIM card or replace it with a new one when changing operators.
In reality the use of the eSIM is very similar to that of a traditional SIM with the difference that you can access different lines without physically acquiring a SIM card and that to activate them you only need to scan a QR code provided by the operator.
For AT&T we can visit an authorized center or we can contract a plan from the same web page, where the QR code needed to activate the eSIM will be sent to us by mail. This option is available with an AT&T Simple Plan and also through prepaid, however, you will have to ask your authorized center if they have it available in the latter option.

What is the Movistar decoder?
The UHD Set-Top Box is the device that allows you to access Movistar TV content by connecting it to the Smart WiFi Router with an ethernet cable and to your TV via HDMI output. It has an attractive design and small size, with the intention of integrating perfectly into your home.
How to enable movistar decoder
Movistar has taken advantage of Internet Day to bring it to your car. It has begun to market Movistar Car, the service that connects the car to the network and is available to all cell phone users, whether or not they are blue customers.
Movistar Car works through a device that the customer receives at home and which incorporates a SIM card. The user must install it in his vehicle following the instructions of the app that has been previously downloaded to the cell phone, from where the customer will manage the service.
Among its functions is the creation of an exclusive wifi network over 4G for the car (with 3GB per month, included in the price), to which up to 5 devices can be connected at the same time to navigate without consuming data from the customer's mobile tariff.
In the event of an impact, Movistar Car automatically calls a platform that initiates the assistance protocol, including the management of the 112 emergency service if necessary. It also enables maintenance checks to be scheduled and alerts to be received regarding possible vehicle faults.

We will start with a simple, but no less important topic: the configuration of the APNs of the main operators in Mexico. But, before we start, it is necessary to clarify what is an APN?
