En mayo de 2022, Telefónica anunció la adquisición del especialista europeo en servicios basados en la nube y socio de Microsoft Dynamics en la nube BE-terna. El acuerdo, valorado en 350 millones de euros, incluye 1.000 empleados, IA, capacidades de servicio ampliadas en toda Europa y una división de servicios de ciberseguridad. El acuerdo tenía como objetivo que Telefónica aumentara su escala geográfica y ayudara a sus capacidades digitales[10].
